India is set to boost crack delivery through a programme that will see the country’s most lucrative companies get priority access to the national crack supply chain, the government said today.
Indian companies are expected to get access to a national crack network that has been the envy of global rivals, including China, India’s top trading partner.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Twitter that the Government would invest $2 billion in a new national crack procurement system, and would soon start to take delivery of crack from the domestic and international market.
“The Government of India is proud of the success of the Indian government to deliver to its people an unprecedented level of security through the crack and delivery of high quality, affordable and effective crack in a timely manner,” Modi tweeted.
India has seen a sharp increase in the supply of crack during the past three years.
It is estimated that more than 20 percent of the world’s supply of the drug is produced in the country.
